Gameweek 3 and the Hill come into this having lost handily Hophouse 11 just shortly at the weekend. The less said on that fixture, the better. The lads had the opportunity to turn our fortunes around, going up against a Bruno side who’d last beaten Bohfenians 4-2 and had a break over the weekend.

Due to some lads being late the team got off to a shaky start, with the odd ball just spilling over giving Bruno FC plenty of chances. Sideeq was however able to spot the run of Ryan who went around the keeper to roll in the opener early in the first half. Bruno came back attacking hard down our right hand side but the lads held off to see us hold the lead till half time.

The game remained end to end for the opening few minutes of the second half before a beautiful corner from Liam Molloy fell to Ryan in the box who volleyed home the second. From that point the Hill were on the near constant attack, with a Gough cross being handled in the box to award the lads a penalty. Devon stepped up and slotted it away comfortably to open his account for the first team. An overall great performance from the lads which saw us regain our place atop the group.
